Which one should i choose?

Hi all,

Im in real need of help in selecting a new processor, the:

 

i7-4770K

or

i5-4670K

or

i7-6700K

 

There's no need to ask about a motherboard because ill be getting one thats compatible with the new CPU anyway, i just need a new CPU selected,

What do you use your computer for? Gaming, video editing etc.

i7-4790k because it's an i7 but not as expensive as skylake. Also, you need to consider the RAM (skylake uses DDR4) so I suggest using http://au.pcpartpicker.com/ to check compatibility.

The 6700K will perform best in gaming, but you don't really need more than an i5 6600K. Get an i5 6600K.

Skylake isn't really that much more expensive than Haswell.

Yeah, but sometimes that small difference in the price can mean an SSD or a better graphics card.

The i7 will perform best, but you don't really need it for gaming, unless you are willing to spend the money.
