Nice Compact Camera with good low light performance under AUTO mode?

KimCheeZZ

Does anyone know of a nice Compact camera that performs well under low light WITHOUT using the flash? I am buying it for a friend of my mom's, so it would be best if it takes decent low light pictures without fiddling with the settings (i.e. auto mode).

any suggestion is much appreciated.

You'll be hard pressed to get a point and shoot that has a high iso like a workhorse dslr. I would just get a HTC One

Edit @Cacao beat me to it :P

  • 4 weeks later...

Sony HX20, Speedy auto-focus, shutter release and good low light performance. I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a compact camera.
