My HTC desire 820 is locked because of a battery issue?

Hey good people of LTT.
Been a long time youtube watcher and now call upon you for aid.
I am from the Netherlands and have been using a HTC desire 820 single sim for over a year as my daily driver.
I was listening to music via a bluetooth headset when my phone suddenly died. It was on the charger at 15% battery.
Now the charging LED is blinking mad and when I start up my phone it gives the following error.
*** Software status official***
*** LOCKED****
A51_UL PVT SHIP S-ON

HBOOT-3.19.0.0000

RADIO-01.01.010_UL10305041_08.01.51015

OS-2.11.401.6

eMMC-boot 2048MB oc

feb 15 2016;15:37:12.0

then there are a few options:

HBOOT

RAMDUMP

REBOOT

REBOOT FASTBOOT

POWER DOWN

I've tried all of them except for the RAMDUMP but the LED keeps blinking like mad. I am suspecting a charging error but I've got no clue how to fix it.
I would love to know if any of you know how to fix this or if I should just buy a new one.

Thanks in advance,

Maikel

motherboard...really? In that case, you might be better off getting a new phone :/ simply for the fact that usually a new SOC board is as expensive as a new phone or is very close to it...(but get a new battery and see whether it helps anyway :D).

Also, @mikat, the tagging thing didn't work so I did it again for you :P

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

well if you're replacing a phone's motherboard, you might aswell replace the whole phone, since they are very expensive and a new phone would overall be a better option

also: thanks @Mr.Meerkat for tagging me :)

btw OP, if you don't see a dropdown menu to select a forum member to tag when typing (at)name try removing the (at) and adding it again :)
