Earphone's mic not working

Oculyst

I have been searching of the internet but I've found no fitting solution. The earphone i'm using is similar to the samsung earphone. It does work and my computer is able to detect it. I'm have an Asrock h97m pro4. This has the built in Realtek Audio. My computer has two audio front audio ports. One green for the audio output and the pink one for the microphone. I use my skullcandy headset in the green one and I want to use the earphones mic only through the pink one. I don't want to use a splitter. Right now if record sound from my earphone, it's done through the earbuds themself and not the microphone remote. Is there a way to record sound with the actual microphone of the earphones themself?

If I understood you right, you want to record audio with the mic from your Samsung linke earbuds?

The problem is, earbuds have to deliver sound and the microphone through one connecter instead of the standard 2 from your PC.

That means that they have 4 pins instead of the PCs 3 pins. Thats the problem so you NEED an adapter to get it to work.
