And i am around 11:09 where he is adding the fire. When I add my fire clip It does not make it transparent. I can make a gif if you want.

if your fire has black background, use luma key to remove the black portion to make it transparent or try ovelay

In Effects and Presets type Luma and it is called Luma key. Drag it over the fire and adjust it so the edges are nice and smooth. Then color correct to scene and you should be good to go

You can also export a PNG sequence with RGB+Alpha (if the background is already transparent, if not, use the luma key above).

 

For transparency in a non-final product, you need an Alpha channel exported into the video file to keep it transparent for use at later times.
