Games crash whenever i try to play anything please help!

So i bought a new gtx 970 and i tried to install in into my computer and when i tryed to launch any game my computer would restart. I then installed a new driver and then it worked slightly better the game would run for a few seconds and then bring me to a white screen that i couldent leave from no matter what i tried to do. I would only be able to get rid of it by restarting my computer. Im not really sure what else to do here so if you have any ideas please help

Have you tried completely wiping the old drivers off of the system? http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/driver-sweeper-download.html

Other than that, what is PSU that you have and has this ever happened before you put in your 970?

What CPU do you have? and What is the exact model of the PSU that you have? Just because it's rated at 500W doesn't mean it's a great quality and some of the worse ones can die out after a couple years/months

Did you uninstall the intel drivers?

They might not be in the "Programs and Features" menu. There are drivers all over the place and that menu is generally only for main programs.

Your computer isn't detecting your iGPU, check to see if you can turn it on in bios, it needs to be detected to uninstall drivers (at least from device manager)dsemo.PNG

It depends on your motherboard, so I probably can't tell you. How about you try Safe Mode and see if you can play games there.
