Hi, I was wondering if Synergy will work with my setup and if it supports multiple displays on each computer.

My current setup is I have two monitors and two computers, but I have both monitors connected to both computers. When I want to switch between computers I'll change the inputs on each monitor and will unplug my mouse and keyboard from one computer, then plug them into the other computer.

So basically with Syenergy will I be able to swap both my monitors inputs and use my mouse and keyboard without changing the usb cables? Or does Synergy only support one display per computer?

Sorry if I didn't explain it clearly enough and thanks in advance.

the point of synergy is to use all the monitors at the same time

youre going to lose your mouse often if you do it this way because half of your monitors will be invisible to you when you use one PC

what you want is a KVM switch

Ah, so something like this? Except I wouldn't use the vga connector.

yes

basically the same thing as the switch you currently use to switch your monitors but that also switches your mouse or keyboard USB ports
