Hi all

I was wondering which one would be better for me?

My initial plan was to do a water cooled air 540 with a 360 in front and 240 in the top. But now I see this 750d case and am wondering maybe I should cancel my order of air 540 and get this instead?

What do you guys think?

I personally would go air 540 for my loop because of all the space in the back it will let you route tubes through the grommets and behind the motherboard tray. I don't think (depending on your tubing) you'd be able to do that on the 750d.

I personally like the 540 just for its novelty, but cases are a personal preference. If the only concern is aesthetics, nobody can tell you one or the other.

Ya thats what I was thinking. It will be nice to put the pump and res in the back.

I'm in the exact same predicament! I'm personally leaning towards the Air 540 because I don't really need/want to showcase my power supply and all the cables coming out. I could make a midplate or cover it up or something but that would be wasting the window space that the 750D offers :/ The same thing applies to hard drive cages if you have any. Hiding anything with acrylic makes me feel like I'm misusing the side panel window.

These are just my thoughts on side panel windows so if you have an amazing build in mind for the 750D, go for it!

If I was at your place of residents right now, (Pushing you out of the way), I would cancel the other order

and get the 750D myself!!!

Stop wondering and get the 750D.................Did you order it yet!!??

How about now!!??................Please tell me you got it by now at least!!??   :)

Id go 750d, just because as nice as the cube case is... I think it'd be a lot harder to move around and use if you move houses and such because the extra width thats in the air 540. I just think of the 750D as a more 'standard" style case.

But absolutely, what ever is your own personal choice and what fits you.

if you have the real estate on a desktop for the 540, that'd be a novel move. would

it be enough? depends on what you are after. the 750D is taller and deeper and to

sit it on a desktop might make you a bit claustrophobic from it's monolith stature in

a small room or cubical. so far from what you told us, a 360 and 240 are needed and

you need a case to house them both. depending on location $20USD difference.

and if it was between the two, i'd error to the larger case 750D for sheer more options.
