Hey,

I'm trying to find a round up of current large cases. (I'm finding it difficult to get the right adjectives to google effectively...)

I've got an Air 540 right now and I really like it but with my triple 120 rad in the front (can't mount on the top) I'm finding that I really struggle for space. I already had to move the SSD drive cage from its mount point to fit the res in over the power supply and even then I have to unscrew it from the mesh to get enough clearance to fill it up.

I'm moving into my first bought property this summer and now that I won't need to move it around so much I'm thinking I can stomach an uber sized case. Any suggestions/resources much appreciated. :-)

What all do you have in there right now? If you only want a 360 rad, id keep the 540.

Yea, you don't need a big case to fit a 360 rad...

IMAG0600 (2).jpg

420 and 280... Dual 360 is also doable.

That said, of the full towers, I think the X71 is the best deal (although you are supporting thermalfake then), and the SMA8 is the most super insane.

I totally meant to reply at the time and thank you all for these recommendations. I've taken a look and some of them look sick! (with price tags to match :-( )

RE: Keep the 540/a 360 rad isn't that big. I'm not convinced you can claim your components fit inside the 540 with the side panel off and tubing going through an unpopulated fan slot. That's cool if it's what you're into but just not for me :-)

My intent is to add more rads because I like playing with it buuut the reason I want a super large case is because I'd rather have a lot of space and get away not having to deal with awkward angles than save space (which I have lots of :-) )

Well that's because I that 280 on top. Has nothing to do with a single 360 which isn't enough rad for me. It clearly fits. I can stuff it all inside but that's not the point. Just get a core x9.
