Installing Windows 7??

I'm making my first computer, and it's 8gb so I can run 64 bit, I'm wondering how I get Windows 7 pro onto a usb from another prebuilt computer to run it on the computer I'm currently building. Please help :-)

I suggest using rufus, but microsoft has their own usb creation tool.

If you have the CD key, you can get an ISO of windows 7 straight from the microsoft website. Can't remember where on it, though.

say I buy a Windows 7 key from kinguin, what would I do with it after?

I can't find the site, it might only work for OEM copies anyway after googling (OEM is tied to the computer you install it on).

1. Buy the key.
2. Enter it here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7 to get the Win 7 ISO file
3. Download the ISO, install it on a flash drive
4. Use the flash drive to install it on your computer (you'll need the key when installing it on the computer too)

I think i googled "Redeem windows 7 cd key".

I'm not smart enough to think of something so simple!
