Hey guys,

When do you think the 1080 ti and the Titan X replacement will drop? With the full GP100 core? I wanted to go for a 1080 but I'm a bit out of money at the moment and decided to save for 1080 Tis in SLI. Do you think my 980 ti will handle itself in games like Battlefield 1 until the 1080 ti drops? I play at 4k 60hz. Thanks.

Battlefield 1 will require around the same specs if no the same as Star Wars Battlefront so if you can play that at 4k 60hz then you'll be fine in BF1

yeah like thekeemo said we can expect 1080ti spring of 2017 sometime. If i we're you I would just save up and turn settings down. I am currently running 2 980tis so my plan is to wait until the 1080tis come out and by then all the windows 10 problems will hopefully of been fixed and Im just going to build an entirely new machine with 2 1080tis.

@Ophidio I can play Battlefront at 4k 60hz at ultra with 50-55 FPS. My 980 ti is highly overclocked.

@JSG509 I have a single one, going from a single 980 ti to 2 1080 tis should be a massive upgrade

Yes it will be I cant wait and by then 4k 144hz will be a thing lol. But Like i said I would just turn down settings. Im not even bothered by the benchmarks of the 1080 or hyped. If i allowed my self to do that i would not be able to sleep I just told my self I will build a new machine in a year with the latest and greatest. I mean if you were running like say an 970 or something then yes I would be picking up a 1080 asap.

Well I will just upgrade my current 3800$ 980 ti rig. I've been upgrading this machine since 2004

The Titan will not be before Q1 2017
The TI probably at least 6 months later.

If Vega will be pushed to October 2016, then we might see GP100 Titan be introduced earlier... depending on whether the Ti or Titan will be the first GP100...
