Need to re-install

I'm fed up with my current Windows install. It is so goddamn unstable, that I can't even render a fucking video for school, let alone record it. I have on major issue - I kind of have a lot of programs installed. I want to, need to re-install. I simply just have so much stuff on my SSD's that will be hard to download again, and configure. Any tips, easy solutions for this?

no easy solutions really, if it were for simple files, just copy em over. 

 

But you want to backup programs which you cannot just copy over because of windows registry and whatnot. sorry. Don't see any other ways that to download everything again and/or backup the installers on a usb key if you still have them.

This is a shitty situation, but I do have a USB drive that I can try using.

You could find some of the installation files(if you still have them), other things and copy them to a flash drive. This will save some time on downloading things.

You can backup most of config files. Some are located same place where software is, other are under Users/<username>/Documents or Users/<username>/AppData/Roaming.
