This is my first post in this forums. I'm making a gaming PC. Here is the list:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LNb2Q7

How is it? What do you think about it? How much FPS should I expect from 1080p?

I came here because I'm a big fan of Linus and I thought that, since Linus is the best tech guy in the world, his forums must be great !!!!

Any comments appreciated.

Thanks.

That is one of the most perfect builds I've seen from a new person ever. Should expect 50-60 across the board (380X is quite powerful) and welcome to the forums :D Also, consider waiting on the new graphics cards from AMD and Nvidia, releasing 'soon' (1 to 2 months).

GTA V, Watch Dogs, Mafia III (When it releases), Rise of Tomb raider

depends on your settings but you should be able to reach 60 fps no problem :)

looks good. i would go with the fractal design core 2500 (you dont need extra fans then), without an optical drive and with an ssd though.

also the monitor isnt good value you can pick up a freesync monitor for that price.

I would have bought Fractal Design or NZXT if it was available here. But unfortunately my only options are Thermaltake Versa N21 or H25.

And the optical drive is for OS install and for using some old disks that I have in my home.

I don't care about monitors but, I'm not buying from online. I'm buying from a local shop and it's quite cheap here :D

SSD will exceed my budget :(

if you can't get an ssd now, you can always add it in later. make a 100-200gb boot partition, than once you get your ssd, clone everything from that partition to the ssd.

The motherboard (while it looks good) is a tad on the pricey side though. You can find some decent H170 boards at this price, but if you like its looks and don't need things like RAID then just get it.

Can you guys tell me something?

The RAM I selected is fine I guess. But I'm not sure if it's in there stock. And they don't have any other kit RAMs so, Should I buy 2 single 4GB RAM and hook them up or is that a bad idea? Or, Should I buy 1 single 8GB RAM?

I doubt you will ever need more than 16GB ram in total, so 2 single 4GB sticks should be fine.

Sorry but I think you misunderstood.

I'm talking about kits. Which should I buy?

(1X8GB) or

(1X4GB) 2 of them

buy the 1x8gb stick of ram so that you can leave more room for future expansion.

Yes, it would mean you will get less effective bandwidth if you have one since you can't have them in dual channel.
