Damn this must be scary, imagine having to leave your home, not know whether the fire will actually reach your house. What would you take with you. your entire computer, pictures albums, important ids/docs, clothes. You will take your pets, so along with that, what else. Hope every one is safe.

Just saw this on the news here in the UK, some of the videos they were showing looked insane. The flames are humongous!!

 

Forgive my total ignorance but its no where near the LTT offices, right?

I think my computer would be the last thing on my mind if I could potentially lose my house.

I think LTT is ~1000 miles (well.. Driving distance, you'd probably be looking at ~700 or so for straight line distance) from Fort McMurray.

The fire went from 25,000 acres to 210,000 acres in less just 24 hours and is heading South.

From LMG office to Fort McMurray is about a 2 and half hour flight.
