I'm currently looking into building a pc.  I do 4k editing on it in premiere it's gonna be a work pc.  So no gaming.  What would u recommend.  My budget is about $1500

How soon do you need to have everything built? Broadwell-E is coming out at the end of May and by July the new graphics cards should be on the market as well.

A decent CPU (x99?), 32GB or more ram and a GPU with enough Vram (4GB). That should get you going.

Also, an m.2 for the extra read speed is needed if you want multicam or works with heavy formates. Also, a few SSDs so you can spread the workflow (video files on 1 (or on the m.2), media cache on 1 and render to a 3rd. Then of course a high capacity HDD to keep none active files on.
