Are they normal DIMM's? Because they should work. DDR2 isn't used anymore, so wouldn't work on a new machine. Also it may be ECC, which a consumer PC can't use. But it should still run. Pics?

Wrong, my LGA775 support ECC memory and it's not a server motherboard.

For intel CPU using DDR2 avoid high density sticks (also referred as "AMD only", 4GB non-ecc sticks, etc...)

it would also kinda help to know what board you are looking to get RAM for and maybe what your trying to achieve.
