What type of PSU do you suggest for a Cooler Master Elite 110? A standard, semi-modular or a fully modular?

The Cooler Master Elite 110 is a mini-ITX case, but will support full-sized ATX power supplies.

That said, since it is such a small computer case, space is a premium -- get a PSU that will take up the least amount of space / clutter.

Semi-modular or full-modular will not have too much as a difference; some of the connectors will be mandatory for the computer to even work.

By the way, where are you actually located?

The website you linked to us for the graphics card is not a U.S.A. webpage...but your PCPartPicker is the U.S.A. version.

For the system you have, a 500W ~ 550W will be plenty, and with room for overclocking.

SeaSonic is one of the old brand-new, tried and true, PSU bran, designer, and manufacturer. of PSU's.

The other reputable companies (in many times USE SeaSonic designs) are:

  • Antec
  • Fractal Design
  • SilverStone
  • XFX
  • Corsair
  • Cooler Master (their more recent, and higher quality units)
  • BeQuiet!

Antec being the 2nd or 3rd oldest running, successful, company in the PSU business.

Here are some of my recommendations for semi / fully modular PSU's.

  1. SeaSonic G-Series SSR-550RM **Semi Modular** -- http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-ssr550rm
  2. Antec HCG M-series 520M  **Semi Modular** -- http://pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-power-supply-hcg520m
  3. Antec EDGE 550W **Fully modular**-- http://pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-power-supply-edge550
  4. EVGA G2 550W ** Fully Modular** -- http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220g20550y1
  5. XFX XTR Series 550W ** Fully modular ** -- http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550bbefx

IMO, the PSU is one of the better investments in a computer -- and it is one of the CORE foundation components in ANY PC; kind of like the spine that holds everything together...in a sense. You get a good quality PSU, and it will easily last you for 2 ~ 3 (or more) new system builds.

My Corsair TX850 (version 1...the decent one, before they switched internal designs) is already 5~6 years old.

I have used it in two complete system builds, probably soon for a third, lasted three complete GPU upgrades (3x HD 5850's >> 2x HD 7970's >> R9-Fury) and it is still going strong. The only reason I'll probably upgrade is to get a semi / modular PSU with a higher efficiency -- this thing is ONLY 80 PLUS (not even Bronze).

-rascal-, im in Norway, so it's not many options. I can not buy from Amazon.Co.Uk, since Norway has a stupid rule that you have to pay extra to the state when buying from outside the country. So, the biggest stores are KomplettMulticomDustin Home and https://www.proshop.no/  I think im going to buy from Proshop, since it is the cheapest.
