One day, a computer will fit on a desk. -Arthur C. Clarke 1974-

Speaking of people ahead of their time... Wow!

It's so accurate that frightens, or wonder.

There was, there is and there will be many people like this man.

Does anyone have more to share?

A little confusing... the title says 1974 but the footage looks like it was from 1952.

That aside, not bad.  But did you pick up on that little comment about the console accessing the neighbourhood computer (0:20)?  The "mainframe" mentality was still clearly very entrenched.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

I did a small search and seems to be 1974.

Yeah, now the "mainframe" is the Internet itself, intangible as it is.
