if i bought it now it would porperly take 4-5 days to get here

It's very unlikely that Nvidia's new graphics cards will be released anywhere close to that then.

Current rumors say that they will be released at some point during the summer. June, July. There abouts, give or take a month or two. As nothing is for sure at this point in time. It's all speculations.

New stuff are usually plagued with bugs and it isn't until about 6 months later do manufacturers iron out the kinks.

The 980ti is hands down the best gpu you can get for the money.  If I had the money I would buy it.

If the rumors are accurate then it should be higher performance than a 980 ti and quite a bit cheaper. Its a 980 level of entry into the market in terms of silicon die size so should be quite a bit cheaper than a 980 ti. Its got a similar amount of CUDA cores and presumably only a bit more memory bandwidth, but we also have no idea what new features will be in the new cards in terms of DX 12 featureset support and such. The 900 series is old now, its obsolete and buying right now is bad. Either wait for the annoumcement and buy a much cheaper 980 ti that someone is selling second hand to upgrade or buy a 1000 series when they come out, but right now those 2 months will probably cost you $200-300 more than waiting a couple of months.
