Boot Failure Message and Slower than Usual Start Up

Hello,

Basically, the problem I am having is that I have had quite a few incidents where I get an error message telling me that there was a failure during the boot. Coincidentally, this started happening a few days after installing new RAM. I have since swapped the RAM back to what I previously had, but it made no difference (yes the RAM was installed correctly).

There are also more problems when it does actually boot. It takes longer than usual (booting off an SSD) to boot up and sign in, and it feels a bit laggy overall when I opening things like task manager, as well as when clicking the icon to change the wifi connection.

Also, when in the BIOS settings, the cursor is really laggy, Rather than moving fluidly, it skips.

I've never had an issue like this before. Does anyone know what the potential problem could be?

try running it at 1600mhz instead

Already tried that, sadly didn't make a difference.

I also tried switching back to my old RAM, which is Avexir 16GB 1600mhz, and that made no difference either.

Okay, that seemed to fix quite a few of the problems. The only problem left is the boot time is still slower than what it was. Could be something to do with the SSD, but I'm not too sure.

At least most of the important problems are fixed now, thanks :)

I'm still using my old RAM at the moment, (2x8GB, Dual Channel, 1600mhz) and XMP is locked onto "Disabled". I guess it doesn't support XMP. I've got a few things coming in the mail for my PC, so when they arrive, I'll swap it out then.
