What's the difference?

Hello guys.. I want to install FIFA 14 but for min requirement for the cpu have to be 1.8 GHz Core 2 Duo and i have Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8700 @ 2.53GHz. So what's the difference?

Maybe its because it is a laptop core 2 duo. They don't perform as well as desktop core 2 duo's

your pc is not the latest anyhow though.

Could be. Some games don't like laptop CPU/GPUs

It might not like your cpu as it is a laptop cpu then.

There are several different generations of "Core 2" CPUs - some MUCH faster than others

THose minimum spec cards are a little older, but higher end and about double as powerfull as your gpu.

 

Your hardware is 8 years old or so and it was pretty mediocre back then, so maybe think about upgrading at some point.

Hence upgrade would be needed anyway. Does game that doesn't launch give you errors? Like DX crashing etc. Because having lower than minimum specs doesn't mean that you can't launch game. It just means that it doesn't run with any decent fps.
