So as I said in the previous topic, my GTX 970 is broken and it's up for warranty checking right now, but I wont know the result until about 1 month from now. Worse case, I have to buy a new one, Best case, I get a new 970. So in the mean time I'm left with no GPU except the iGPU in my 4770k which cant really play any games I want.

Since that's the case, should I get a 950/760/750Ti grade GPU for now so I can atleast play some less demanding games and if I happen to get my 970 back (or if it come to it, buy a new card, probably 1070 or so) I can use it as a dedicated PhysX card? Is it worth it? What kind of performance gain can I expected if I use it as dedicated PhysX?
