Do i need a music technology course in college/ university for example to make it to the music industry or could i achieve that without the need of a college degree in music?

You can teach yourself how to produce music, but it would likely be easier with a course and access to a studio unless you already have the gear yourself.

 

You might also want to consider doing a minor in music tech with a major in an alternate career choice.
