Hi guys,

I recently benchmarked my current gaming laptop after not being satisfied anymore about it's performance on heavier games. My MSI leopard pro benchmarked 24 fps at F1 2015 at ultra settings an latest drivers. 32 FPS at high settings and 40 FPS at medium settings (which suck). Now I would want to build a better pc for the heavier games. I'm researching diffrent options and possibilities to solve my question?

I can't find an clear answer myself as an novice pc builder and enthousiast.

My current laptop has the following specifications:

I7 5700HQ 2.7 ghz (boost 3.5 ghz)

8gb ram ddr3
128 GB SSD
1TB HDD

GTX 950M 2GB DDR3

The games i mostly play are racing games an Fifa (if it helps you guys)

It seems the biggest bottleneck from my laptop is the graphics card since www.gpuboss.com says a 750ti is already a better performer than the 950m.

Which complete setup (CPU, GPU, RAM, MOBO, storage) would you guys advise for me as a novice.

The budget i have is around €1000 (netherlands) and I don't prefer AMD, intel etc.

I've already been advised on this forum to wait for the new graphics card from the vendors but i also would like advise for which platform of cpu?

Already thanks for you knowledge

Don't you think i can get a better graphics card and use a old display (just an 23 inch hdmi hd led tv) or does the 144 hz really make a big difference?

And thank you for the quick parts list;)

There wouldn't be much point in running a high end GPU on a 1080p 60hz display, better to invest in a display with a mid range GPU, as the display will last you much longer than a high end GPU

Also a TV wouldn't be very good for gaming, and if you're playing racing sims mostly the extra smoothness would be a godsend.

Might even be worth it to get a 6600K to get your minimum frame rates up with an OC

If you can wait, then wait. If not, then proceed.

Although the price is not in Euros, this build would be perfect for your needs.

Now I'm aware certain parts might not be available in Netherlands, but do try to get similar parts, if you don't get the same or equivalent parts.

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

Try to find one of the MSI VD/PRO or Gaming boards, should be around that price, but they're just about the best budget 1151 boards

and maybe look for a seasonic, super flower, or XFX(non XT), EVGA(non low end/non NEX) power supply

DO NOT BUY THAT PSU. That thing is a safety hazard!

Sharkoon PSUs fall into the "Avoid Immediately" Tier of the PSU Tier list: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

Get something reliable. Anything from SeaSonic or Super Flower is good. For a detailed breakdown, refer to the list above, and these two as well:

GeIL RAM? Heard little about them, but RAM is RAM. Make sure your kit has lifetime warranty.

Everything else looks good.

Yeah, looks good. The previous motherboard was fine though, unless you need those extra features the B150 motherboard has to offer.

PSU is fine, but you'll never need anywhere near to 620 watts. If you can, try getting something cheaper, as in equal quality, but lower wattage.
