I am planning on doing some custom lenght front panel cables for my case. I do not want to make them too long for obvious reasons, and not to short if I change my motherboard.

My questions is : is the connector position somewhat universal, or does it change a lot. Mine is in the bottom right corner when the board in in the case, is it somewhat universal or can it be in really different places ? If you have mobo model for example it would be great.

They are almost always at the bottom right as long as your not going for something like an odd ball ITX or OEM board since sometimes they have them in different places.

I believe they can be in different places on boards.
