Bottleneck?

Hey there !

I currently geting heavy laggspikes ( From 70+ fps to 35-40) On almost any game on ultra 1440p, GTA V and The Divison fo e.x, and i would like to ask, is any component bottlecking my rig?

i7-6700k

msi 980ti 6gb

16g DDR4 2666mhz ram

H100i V2 extreme performance cooler

Corsair HX750i PSU

MSI Z170a gaming M5 

240g SSD

1TB 7200rpm Harddrive

 

My drivers all up to date and nothing has been OC'd

Nothing is bottlenecking anything here, have you tried reinstalling your drivers? What's the usage and temps like?

what are your temps, gpu and cpu usage?

 

got the latest and reinstall drivers?

During load my GPU is usually at 67-70C ( fan speed 70%), usage 94-97%

and CPU usage jumps from between 40-58% usage and temp is a stable 44%

Your CPU shouldn't be under so little stress...you're using a 6700k which is a quad core and not a 22 core CPU or something so it should be in the upper 90s to 100% usage...hmmmm...how is the turbo boost acting? (install CPU-z and maybe adia64 and stress test your CPU, look at the temps and in CPU-z it should be clocking upto 4.2Ghz with 100% usage...)
