Is 2.6 GPA for senior high school bad?!

Do you know how GPA is calculated?

 

A = 4
B = 3
C = 2
D = 1
F = 0

 

What you do is take each grade you get, and add the corresponding number to it together.  Then average.  3 A's and 3 B's is a GPA of 3.5.  So either you've got other grades that you're not telling us about, or something is wrong with how your GPA is being calculated.

Aren't there entry exams?

It's something we often have in Europe and in France particularly. Since Quebec province is close to France on many things they may have those as well which could help you. Besides are you in a good high school ? Because that may help as well.

This is what I'm thinking.  Meaning he skidded by his Freshman-Junior year and tried to make up for it.
