The 880K is better if you have a GPU that is superior to the R7 250!

I bought the A10-7850K in June 2015, Don't buy it, I had to turn off "Hardware Acceleration" in chrome to watch videos, You're better off with an FX series processor and an R9 GPU, if not NVIDIA.

Technically no, but you won't be doing much on an APU, like Halo CE and lol 

you'd be better with a Athlon or fx and some higher series r5-r7 for gaming

Really depends on what you want games you want to play. Casual titles will runn fine even in 1080p resolutions, but don't expect to run demanding games at more than 720p with low settings.

Only if you really just want some very light gaming capability. You definitley will be better off with a Athlon 860K / Radeon r7 260x combo. Or better yet an Intel Core i3 and a Nvidia GTX 750Ti.

I would suggest you try to get an i3 6100, and something like a 750ti as a minimum.

The fx is very outdated and will not be to good for gaming.

 

But for a really cheap sub $300 pc an a10 7850k isn't a bad deal just pair it with high speed ddr3 and it will do pretty well for 720p, and can run cards such as the 380 without to much of a bottleneck, a 390 or such will bottleneck though.

Just dont please, a friend of mine build a A10 Build with no GPU and we only play CS:GO and Dota 2 Reborn, some RPG Games that really dont need high end spec but compared to a G3258+750Ti of another friend performance are so noticable but playable. the only benefir on the A10 will be Games like GTA V or maybe Far Cry 4.

 

If your going to have a Budget of $400~500 just do a Basic Intel Build and Do a Future Upgrade, you can have it both in 4th Gen and 6th Gen. G3258/G4400 on a z97/z170 if your just mostly Gaming in Latest Triple A Titles go with i5-4690K/i5-6600K if you have a Good Budget go for i7's.

 

I would highly recommend the Intel Platform but if you cant really go with the Upgrade Path, in AMD try a X4 860K with a GPU R9 360 or Equivalent of the GTX 950~970.
