Hi Forum!

So I have this problem with my SGS2, it is working fine almost all the time, but sometimes RAM usage incerases from ~400-500 to 700+ ant phone starts to lagg. What should I do? I downloaded System app, i closed all the active programs, but RAM usage stays ~650 and it still laggs.

P.S. When I restart my device RAM usage drops to 400 or 380.

ram usage is a rom issue.

try a different rom if your phone is rooted

I've had similar issues. Just frequently clear your RAM / recent apps and move apps from device storage to an SD card. Or at least, that's what I've done and it hasn't been bothering me lately. Mind you, my phone is rooted with an Android 4.1.2 ROM.

Try a factory reset, my S3 was crashing apps constantly because of memory running out before I did one. No idea why it was doing it as I didn't have any non-stock apps except facebook, twitter and snapchat.

Now it uses 500mb+ of the 800~mb ram available which is back to 'normal'. I'm sure stock android is lighter, It'll be all the rubbish samsung apps and touchwiz etc.
