Can I control 4 3pin fans with this?

KearneyMC

On my motherboard atm I have 1 3pin fan connected to the 4pin fan header. I can control the RPM In my bios, I want to run all 4 fans all together and be able to change the rpm In the bios

I was thinking of getting this

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Phobya-3Pin-Molex-auf-60cm/dp/B00414ROKU?ie=UTF8&*Version*=1&*entries*=0

It seems to be a 3pin to a 4x 3pin, If I connected all of the fans to this would I be able to simultaneously control all the fans at once in the bios?

Yes you can control 3 pin fans on a 4 pin header as long as you can setup that header to be DC voltage control, just note that a good rule of thumb is 3-4 fan max per header to not overload it's 1amp capacity.

Im thinking of running near enough all fans at low RPM's Should that be OK with this splitter?

Yes that's no a problem for 3 pin fans as long as your not running something like delta fans xD
