Has anybody of you had experience with something similar to this yet?
http://www.logitech.com/de-at/product/bluetooth-audio-adapter
I would use it to wirelessly (obviously) stream music from my phone to my loudspeakers. How is their sound quality? What are they even worth spending(10€, 20€, 40€)?

why not just use a google audio cast or what the audio version of the chromecast is called.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

Do you know if it sounds good since that little pill has to house a dac+amp combo?

it is running over wifi so it must be atleast as good as that one maybe better. There arent any amp in it since it is meant to be used with powered speakers.

That may be true but a DAC has very low output right? So it would need and amp to get normal listening levels.
Btw on googles website is says optical out is supported but how?

yeah but as I said it is meant for powered speakers aka speakers with a build in amp. I have no idea how it can output optical. If you dont have powered speakers you could go for that logitech one if it is a speaker amp also or look at a reciver with airplay.

I have a "Teufel E450 Digital" which has a preamp going into th Amp of the sub that does all the real work.

I think @spwath can help you a bit more than me, since I know the most about headphones and headphone dacs and amps.

I recently wrote my review up on Chromecast Audio found here:

You can bi-pass the integrated DAC on the Chromecast by using a mini-toslink cable. You would want to do some research on what apps support it before making the plunge.

Main Rig:  CPU i5-4670k   MOBO Gigabyte Z97N-WIFI   GPU GTX 980ti    RAM 8GB  STORAGE 128GB ADATA(OS)/250GB Samsung 850 EVO(APPS)/3TB WD Red

AUDIO: AMP/DAC TEAC AI-301DA SPEAKERS: Cambridge Audio SX50 Phones: Philips Fidelio X1

It should work fine. There is an optical port on the chromecast

Thank you. That was something I definitely needed to know.

What about wireless coverage. Do you guys think I will need a very good signal or would mediocre suffice because I won't be getting any more than that?

What is mediocre signal? If you just really have over 2mb/s it should run with no problem.

The sub with the receiver on it sits on the far side of my couch. I sometimes lose wifi signal when lying down on the couch with my phone watching YouTube. It is a pop in an out thing. If I get a signal I can watch 720p60fps but if not ... well, nothing.

I just realise that when I doubt I can still buy a longer optical cable and relocate the Google audio cast somewhere more beneficial. So the problem kind of solved itself.
