I have 2 Gtx 560 in sli i got them around late summer last year this is the link to them. http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-1024MB-Graphics-01G-P3-1466-KR/dp/B005DJEICE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1362115088&sr=8-1&keywords=gtx+560+ssc

And i am thinking about getting 2 gtx 660 so i can run them in sli, but i am not sure if i should or just spend the 400.00 on just 1 gpu. My recommendation - get the best single GPU you can for that price - always better to run one when you can, rather then two. Don't have to worry about driver issues and scalability. I would take some time, check all the retailers and see who has what on sale+rebates that you can pick up for your budget. Post your options if want some feedback...

One high-end GPU is almost always better than two cheaper ones. I would suggest that you get a Radeon HD 7970 for around $370 USD. I will tell you why. The 660 though a good value card, is still, well a value card. It has a smaller memory bus, and only 2GBs of GDDR5 memory, this means that at high resolution gaming you only have a 2 gig frame buffer, the 7970 has 3GBs and a higher memory bus, not to mention that the 7970 is a great high-end card. One more thing, there are sometimes driver issues with SLI/CFX so a single card will solve those problems as well. Hope i could help, ask as many questions as you need.

PS: You didn't mess up :)

The Gigabyte 7970 is a great card.

Also, a nice thing about the Gigabyte board is that Gigabyte provides the GHz edition bios on their website, so you can use it to turn the regular 7970 to a 7970 Ghz edition .
