Get me hooked on a game

Mornincupofhate

I've literally been browsing steam for an hour and all I've come across are stupid anime games and shitty call of duty wanna-be's.

It's been a while since I've been able to play a good game with a story that I got hooked to, so can anyone recommend anything?

I've got $60 to blow and a GTX 980, so I'll probably be able to run it.

If you want a good story driven FPS game, play Metro 2033/Last Light Redux. Also maybe give Singularity a try, it's similar in gameplay and story but with more futuristic design.

It's usually on sale somewhere as it's original console release was a few years ago.  not something I'd call first person, but there is shooting and story.  Plus look at the pretties ^^
