packaging for an amd cpu

i sold my x4 965 and i dont have the original box for it and i need to send it off today and was wondering i fanyone has a good idea on how to post it so that the oins got get bent since my idea was to push the pins into a piece of polycrystalline and and put it in a padded envelope. any ideas are helpful

thats probably the best way i think as long as it does not need much force to get the pins in the polyc.

This is what how I pack my CPUs when selling them through meet-ups and through shipping. Never had one get damaged in shipping. :)

If you've got an old ring box lying about, that'd work - just pad it with some newspaper to stop the chip moving about and it should be alright.
