This is just prep. for a giveaway that is gonna go down in 2 weeks. If I win (000000000000000000.1 chance) I will sell the cooler and the power supply that they giveaway. The reason why I chose the GTX 970 is because the winner will receive a Amazon Gift Card worth $1,000. How does my build look overall?

Just a tip, I'm not sure what the power strip is for but DO NOT power a pc from a power strip. It should be cnnected straight to the wall or even better to a ups

CPU: Get the i5-6500. An extra 25 bucks for a paltry 100MHz boost isn't worth it.

GPU: Get the R9 390 over it. Slightly better DX11 performance, significantly better DX12 performance, and no segmented memory nonsense.

 

Other than that it's all good. :)
