I never used amd cpu's but as long as I am using intel cpu's I am making computers with high value cards with small proccesors....for example

gtx 960 4gb with intel core i3 4170 and I had no problems....

You can play good with this proccesor you will have a lot of fps and good quality in games but it would be a lot better using a new generation proccesor

 

your proccesor yould work perfectly with msi gtx 750 ti or any other brand of 750ti

if you change proccesor you will get an 10-20 fps more and a faster computer which will actually help you running other programms or making live stream and etc

I never said it would't. But i do not recommend  the 970 over the R9 390 or even a 4GB 370 or 380 for the price

390/970 is the best you should get.

You can run a R9 290X, but the FX will bottleneck it quite often. Not like a whole lot, but expect to see 5-10% performance loss with a 290X.
