I saw that amazon has same day delivery in select areas now, they do Boston but not the town where the warehouse is  in Dedham MA I could be available. I could literally walk there in 5 minutes. Google it, it is the "Amazon Warehouse" on Sprague Street And I live in the area slightly east of there.

I like to kill hardware. In 2016 alone I have killed 20 Xeon 5160, and 10+ Pentium 4.

Uhhhhh.... sorry to be "that guy" but who cares -_- just wait the one day or two days on some items same day deliver is not an option I have same day delivery in Phoenix and it's like 50/50 if it's same day or one day.

But it is literally a 2 minute drive from the warehouse and "West Roxbury" is supported and that is further away!

If couriers decided to change delivery vehicles every time "someone that lives near the warehouse" complains nobody would receive a shit

But my home is literally closer than the supported areas.

I always see amazon trucks coming out of there. The same little Nissan vans that deliver packages.

Where's the closest UPS hub though?

Yes, most of the things do come from that warehouse. And I Literally see vans pulling out and entering the warehouse. They almost 100% ship packages out of there.

what's your point? of course they will make Boston 1 day - as logistically and financially it works as everything is "close" and all the college students living in one area (mysefl being formerly one of those students). It will just complicate things to add areas, and advertise it regardless of how close you are to the warehouse. Logistical nightmare when the infrastructure for it is not set up... with that said they did do 1 day prime to Chestnut Hill

I thought those just bring a bunch of packages to the UPS guys, I've never had a amazon truck deliver my package usually it's the UPS guy that does it.

Next time I see one i will take a picture i will clip one to here for now. That is literally the same type of van that enters and exits. They are out and in of the truck to drop a package in less than 30 seconds, probably a security thing.

They could, my house is within 2500 feet of there. I wouldn't want them firing a laptop at my house though. I know this was a joke.

I do share your disdain a bit though. I have Amazon Prime, so I order 3 times or more a week. The local UPS facility that delivers my packages is literally right down the road from me. Then go figure, instead of getting stuff early in the morning, I have to wait til 4-5 in the evening. Talk about a buzzkill. Especially waiting on something you're so excited to get. > <

But amazon directly delivers mine and they support another town further away but not the one where the warehouse is in.

Two different scenarios; two crappy outcomes. That was my point. :)
