Razer Blackwidow Ultimate good?

razer just announced there battlefield 4 blackwidow ultimate and i was wondering if the widow is a good keyboard and are all the ultimate models cherry mx blues? because thats what i would like.

Sure, it's really famous. I would get a Filco, Ducky, WASD, or CM instead though.

Using it right now. Very good keyboard. If you are a big battlefield fan and want a good mech keyboard this is the one no doubt

Overpriced is not all about cost period. It's about the combination of cost, build quality and features. The BlackWidow is lacking, and the Ducky is a tank.

It's not all about cost per se, more to do with the quality of the product you get at a given price point. Here in my neck of the woods, it'd be a simple choice since a 'normal BWU' is already more expensive than a DS3 by ~15USD. Now, even if the situation were reversed, with the DS3 costing 15USD more, I'd still take the DS3 because it is well made, good quality parts, and does not come with bloatware. For the price you pay for a BWU, you can definitely do better....much better.

Heh, the only Razer products acceptable there is anything other than mechanical keyboards. Only Razer keyboard that I've seen that has been accepted was the modded 'WhiteWidow'. And yep, they would have eaten OP alive for even thinking BWU. BTW, I'm a fan of the BF series, even have BF4 on pre-order, but no way in hell I'd even think of getting this.....this.....'keyboard'.

I have the Black widow ultimate i love it so far had it about 3 months but i gotta say if i didnt get it for cheap from a friends best buy discount i probably would have gone with something a little more reputable like a ducky.

Well, excuse me, English isn't my native language.....your statement was ambiguous to me since you'd referenced SToneZ's quote and it was about the DS3 and the BWU BF4 edition. So perhaps I'd expanded on it and made it clearer for non-native English speaking forum members.

I have the Raze Blackwidow Ultimate 2013... I love it, but I got it for 80 bucks, so I can't say I payed too much... The bf4 edition looks amazing... But I would rather get a ducky just because it's a ducky (you know just so I can say that I have a ducky... I like premium things)...
