I just upgraded my set up from 4x2gb 1333 sticks to 2x4gb Kingston HyperX Fury 1600.

Something very odd is happening though. Either stick will work on it's own in the A1 slot. They will work in A1 and A2 in single channel as well. In A1 and B1 (dual channel) they will not work. My computer gives an error code of 33 and then turns off, restarts, turns off, restarts, forever unless I turn it off myself. I've tried hitting my clear Cmos button as well but that does not work.

Any suggestions?

when the new rams installed, can you boot till bios?

if yes, you can check there maybe they have diff timings

if not

have you tried the other 2 dimm slots?

I cannot boot til bios unless I'm in single channel.

I have tried the other slots as well. A1 and A2 works. B1 and B2 works.

Currently I'm running in single channel A1 and A2 until I find a solution.
