New monitor or VR headset?

So i was saving for a while now to buy me a new display, high refresh rate, G-Sync and all that good stuff, cause right now i have my old 1080p 60Hz monitor which my system overkill (i5 6600k and GTX 980) but with the releases of the Oculus and the Vive now I'm not sure if i should spend the money in a high end monitor or a VR headset.

 

What would you do?

Get the monitor. A VR headset would be cool but you can't do everything with a vr headset and not all apps support vr

I have an Anet A8 as my project printer and a i3 MK3 for when I want things to work. 

 

I extrude my own filament and haven't saved a penny yet.

 

 

My PC:

RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V (2x8GB) DDR4-3200

GPU: GTX 1070 Founders Edition (OC'd)

Storage: 2x 2TB Seagate 5400RPM, 128GB ADATA SSD

Power Supply: EVGA Supernova 750w  B2

Cooling: Noctua NH-D15. 3 Intake Fans, 2 Outtake

Case: Fractal Design Define R6
