X51 R2 into new case

I am trying to move my Alienware X51 R2 motherboard in to a new case, is it possible? I have a power supply and a case. The power supply can plug in all the correct places, but I can't find the power switch pins to turn it on, I can't get it to post. Can anyone tell how to make this work or if I need to swap out the motherboard. I have the i5, GTX 960. The i5 is Hasswell.

It should work fine, but there will be no io panel and documentation and the power button might be a custom setup.

Ok, is it possible to plug something from the X51 to make it work?

After a quick look at a image it seems to have normal front panel connectors on the bottom right of the board and will work with any case.

I put the power switch connectors on to those small inputs at the bottom of the motherboard so would I have not wired the components properly or maybe a faulty PSU? I have an EVGA 600W white PSU. It was bought for this. Any ideas?
