you can use this site to compare GPU,s with one another...might help you in your research...the results are user submitted and from all the many (too many) benchmarks i,ve seen they are fairly representative of actual performance in games...

The vamery stuff on ebay are most likely all fake gpus that have had a bios tweak to make them look like the gpu to windows and the bios. I would highly suggest you aviod that brand there are too many complaints about their gpus.
