So I recently just built my first loop and my pump seems to be spinning unusually high. It is a ddc pump in an xspc 170 pump res. I know that you cannot control the speed pwm signal as it is a three pin header. How would I go about turning down my pump speed? My motherboard is an x99 sli plus and I can only turn the speed to 50 percent. Is there a product out there that will let me turn this down below that?

Thanks in advance.

There should be a place on the pump for speed. I know my pump has 5 speed settings on a small dial on the back

That's not true for every DDC pump.

you need a fan controller which can handle the current the DDC draws to turn it down below 50%

I never said it was.

You said that "There should be a place on the pump for speed".

Whatever, that should work.
