PSU and Corrupt Bios

Go to solution Solved by Djole123,

Throw that PSU ASAP before it burns down the whole building.

Get a 500-650W PSU from a brand like SeaSonic, EVGA, Silverstone and others.

I have previously had to replace the motherboard due to it failing possibly because of the same problem.

Motherboard: GA-B75M-D3H (only one available when I had to replace it)

CPU: i7 2600k

GPU: Palit GTX 560 OC

I put my computer to sleep like and I came back to find it completely off so I turned it on and it didn't get to the bios (no video output) and kept resetting. after a few attempts at starting it came up saying it was repairing the bios (it has dual bios), it seemed to finish that and stayed on a blank screen when it suddenly turned off and kept resetting again. I turned off the psu to prevent any further damage. What I believe to be the issue is the power supply which is a really bad one that was in the computer when I got it. I have changed the psu to another low quality one and it has booted however I don't think it would be powerful enough to have the gpu installed (and I wouldn't trust it either). Is this due to the PSU as I remember having a similar issue at one stage but it turned back on after leaving it.

if this is the issue what psu should I buy to replace it.

Desktop: 16gb Ram, i7-2600k, GTX 560 OC.    Laptop: i7, 8gb DDR3, 840m GPU

Server 1 (Files and AD): i3 3220, 4gb DDR3, 1TB Western Digital Blue, Overkill motherboard I got for free (better than main computer) changed to xeon, don't remember exactly what but xeon version of the processor  and 8gb ECC Ram   Server 2 (games): 8gb Ram, i5, Geforce 710m
