well not 4 me

but for u 4kg is heavy do u even lift bro?(supposed to be a joke)

Good sir, I am the definition of a very skinny white kid who has trouble lifting 1U servers into a server rack at work. I can lift, but sometimes thinking about the long distance effect of carrying heavy objects is kinda not satisfying to everyone.

You ought to start working on that. It's not healthy to be extremely skinny

It's the same - look up disassemblies - not even copper heatsinkns.

What books? The only reason I carry mine around is so I DON'T have to carry books. As for weight - 2.5kg is nothing - I've spent 12 years carrying a 7kg backpack to highschool.

I don't want to be mean or anything but not everyone has the will to want to carry there high end gaming laptop on there back forever. I mean next time you got on a couple mile long jog slap that Alienware to your back and run for an hour or so non stop and see if it puts your back through a solid workout. :)

Other than that, I do understand what you are saying, don't get me wrong I bought my MSI GT60 and carried that black plastic fuck around with me for high school as well. But was it great? not really. Could it have been better if I got something a bit more lighter and thinner? You fucking bet your sweet ass it could have. its kinda that point i'm trying to get at. Alienware (and a lot of high end gaming laptop companys) have two different types. The Desktop replacement and the portable on the go gamer. For a Uni student who has to double up there gaming and school life in one system, the optimal choice would to get something smaller and have the ability to load up better performance over a 100% optional GPU upgrade. I hope the point does get across though.

putting the flame war that has been started aside i would get the new razer blade w=but which contry are you in coz they only sell it US at the moment so still selling the 2014 one on the eu and uk sites for uni its perfect light with lots of power and a gpu plus if you wanted to shell the extra £500 for the core for when your doing "revision" you could

I lurk a lot

What about a Sager Clevo? For the high-end, I would personally only touch MSI or Sager, with the nod to Sager.

Which laptop is better for gaming and computer science for university? Razer Blade 2016 or the Alienware 15 2016

neither -- for comp sci and uni, you need something with battery longevity and low weight over anything else; followed by a single threaded CPU and memory.  ditch the gaming requirement; it destroys nearly every positive aspect of a long-lifer laptop in the lecture hall.
