Fallout 3 Crashing on startup?

I got back into Fallout 3 and I wanted to mod it, I was really interested in the Fallout Zero mod, so I downloaded FOMM (the mod says it requires Fallout Mod Manager), so after installing and trying to load it up the game gets to the part where the baby screams and then it freezes. Nothing else happens and it's really annoying. What should I do to fix this?
