My friend dropped her iphone 5c as she just got a new computer, so the computer isn't trusted to backup the pictures.  Her screen is broken so she can't tap "trust" to allow her new mac to get the pictures.  Anything I can do to get the pictures off the phone?  it's turning on, the screen is just broken/\.

I can help with programming and hardware.

Could you remote into the iPhone using a PC or another mobile device? If it's just that one spot that's not working, this might work. If the entire screen doesn't work... Well...

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

Not sure how to check what part works with what? Check out my compatibility guide!

whole screen is fucked.  I have extra screens at my house, but i'm not home for a while.  if she does have to wait, i don't have a 5c screen, but could i connect a screen from an old iphone 4 to it and have it work?, or are the connectors different

I don't know if the connectors are different, but the screen size might be different too...

What do you mean by "screen"? The display? Glass? The touch capability?

You'd have to replace the screen then. Does an iPhone 4 screen work? I have no idea, probably not but its worth a shot.

the whole screen.  i know the size is differnt, but iw as hoping i could just connect it to where the 5c screen should be, and leave it loose.  it's the whole screen, glass display and touch.

if you do, the 5c is literally just a 5 in a plastic shell, so it should be fine. unless its slightly different

apparently she needs these pictures for something tonight, any ideas on how to get them off without replacing the screen

If she has a passcode and can't enter it, then no.

Also you have to use a 5C screen, the 5's screen cables are a bit shorter and the connectors are spaced differently.
