weird windows shutdown issue

So my pc boots just fine and very fast, even when i restart it there are no problems. But when I shutdown my pc the windows shuts down sign appears and then the screen wents black and no signal is coming anymore from the video card, but then the weird thing starts, that often my hdd starts to spin and after 40 seconds or so the pc shuts down. I really don´t know where the problem is, because this error only appears under windows, under linux for example with mint it shuts down immediately. I´m running Windows 10, and the latest non beta bios on my gigabyte gaming 7 x99.

Your problem is MSX. Use 7 or 8.1

one small issue so you recommend to switch his entire OS?

MSX is quite buggy - every issue is different and a pain in the ass.
