Im looking for suggestions on a line-interactive UPS for my system. It has a corsair rm650X psu in it, but probably only pulls around 400 watt under load. Price budget around $250 CAD.

Also pure sine wave or simulated sine wave?

Thanks.

Lost my 670 in a power flicker a few nights ago :(

What does PFC stand for? Is that pure sine waves?

Thx for your condolences on my 670. I looked at APC ,but they dont seem to have pure sine wave UPS's at my price range.

yes it is 100% pure sine wave

power factor correction is the efficiency of the UPS, read here http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/PFC-power-factor-correction-or-power-factor-controller

Really considering the Cyber Power Ups. Need to decide which one to buy now.

1000VA 600W - $160

1350VA 810W - $230

1500VA 900W - $250

Which one would you pick in my case.

i got the 1500 for $170 CAD, which is like $130US

was on sale during christmas

your PC  specs show that you only use about 300-400W under load so even the 1000VA model is enough for you

of course the 1500VA will last longer running, but you dont need that much if you would rather save money

im using 200W at idle right now (including monitor) on my  1500VA and have 30 mins of runtime

I have used both APC (have on on my home server and the wifes pc , I have the cyberpower 1500AVR on my current build and have to say i love it. They are also cheaper that the APC equivalents and as far as i can tell are just as efficient.

My build as can be seen in my profile is a hungry beasty but at idle i would have around 40 minutes before it would shut the pc down

Thx for the suggestion, i already ordered a cyberpower 1000 active PFC. I agree the cyberpower does seem to be better for enthusiast grade. I know at work we use the same UPS system was linus does, and id really just like to have something like that but.. $$$
